He is survived by: his son Troy Herald (Stephanie) of Paris, KY; and his grandchildren, Mike Sheppard (Malissa) of Brentwood, TN, Mark Sheppard of Clarksville, TN, Vicki Sheppard Mayfield (Jeff) of Clarksville, TN and Paula Sheppard Millerd of Clarksville, TN.. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home (1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (2930 Hwy 41A S, Clarksville, TN 37043).
