He was predeceased by: his former wife Suzanne McKay; his wife Bernadette "Bernie" McKay; and his parents, Donald McKay and Christine McKay. He is survived by: his children, Dawn Engelman (Jeff), Holly Moore (Chuck), Michael McKay II (Karen) and Katie Mallinger (Tom); his grandchildren, Andrea Herrell, Scottie Johnson, Alec Moore, Justin McKay, Lauren McKay, Keith Griffith, Nicole Engelman and Brenden Engelman; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" McKay, Jackie Butler, Jill Brann, Mark McKay and Jay McKay.
