She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jackson and Mary Thelma Jackson. She is survived by: her son Lucius Smith, Jr. (Cheryl); her family Pat; her husband Lucius Smith; her children, TaTanisha Shumpert (Philip), Leilani Scott (Sherman), Shawn Smith (Nicole) and Quiton Smith; and her siblings, George Wesley Dowlen, Jr., Birdie Coady, Berthenia Cross, Frank Dowlen, Bob Dowlen, Laura Troutman, Louise Morris, Hilda Walters, Marlene Smith, Jerome Smith, Anthony Smith and Ambrose Smith. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Foston Funeral Home (816 Franklin St, Clarksville, TN 37040). Visitation was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church (1641 Walnut Grove Rd, Clarksville, TN 37042). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West (5817 Fort Campbell Blvd, Hopkinsville, KY 42240).
