He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Arthur Orrick and Ada Adams Orrick; his wife Retha Lay; his children, John G. Orrick (Mercedes) of Elgin, IL, Elisabeth Johnson (Mark) of Paris, IL and Rebecca Artis (Doug) of Clarksville, TN.; and his nephew Dr. Jim Scott Orrick. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and several in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting that gifts be given to mission projects of your local church or Baptist Faith Missions (church-planting missions in the nations of the world).
