She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Ray and Violet Ray; her husband Jim Cobb; her siblings, Jean Stallans (Carroll) and Joe Ray; and her niece Ellen Stallans.

She is survived by: her sons, Christopher "Chris" Scruggs and Joseph "Joey" Scruggs (Ellen); her grandchildren, Lindsey Scruggs (Diego), Campbell Scruggs and Joella Scruggs; her sister Linda Sue Miller (Bill); and her nieces, Donna Barnard (Eugene) and Amanda Donnelly.
