He was predeceased by: his parents, James McDaniel and Earmer McDaniel; his son Jeremy Russell McDaniel; and his siblings, Pete, Jimmy, Dean, Nancy and Kenny.
He is survived by: his daughter Pennie Aten (Bradley); his granddaughters, Caitlin and Jenna Aten; and his siblings, Jerrell McDaniel (Jean) and Linda Goff.
