He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Stacey Sr. and Nellie Stacey; and his former wife Loretta Smith Stacey. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Wilson Gilpin Stacey; his sons, Sidney Doyle Stacey (Cindy) and James Ray Stacey (Brenda); his grandchildren, Jarred Stacey and Larsyn Gibson (Bradley); and his great grandchildren, Eliza Stacey, Sawyer Stacey, Fletcher Stacey, Kavan Gibson and Eileen Gibson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home (1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
