Though Sue may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sue touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Rye Trotter and Pearl Suiter Trotter; her husband James L Slate (Jim); her mother-in-law Edna Mitchell Slate; and her siblings, Marjorie Trotter Green (Jesse), Billy E. Trotter (Josephine) and Welbon R. Trotter (Beverly).
She is survived by: her children, Neal Slate (Cheryl) of Clarksville, TN, Jane Slate (Kirby Talley) and Steve Slate (Kathy) of Van Leer, TN; and her brothers, Donald Trotter (Jean) of Tampa, FL and Phil Trotter of Somerset, KY..
