He was predeceased by: his parents, Kirby James Nelson and Mary Henrietta Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Sue Nelson; his daughters, Janice Williams, Cindy Austin (David), Terri Suiter and Debra Butts (Randy); the mother of his children Mary Lucille Thompson; and his pet Lulu.
