He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Perry and Monnie Perry Powers. He is survived by: his wife Susie P. Perry; his son Ben Perry (Nicole); his granddaughter Harper Perry; his brother Bob Perry (Mary Frances); and his niece Martha Brooke Martin (Jeffrey).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Madison Street United Methodist Church, or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
