He was predeceased by: his father G. T. Van Rensburg; his former wife Gloria Beryl Van Rensburg; and his brother Mack Van Rensburg. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Stroud Van Rensburg; his daughters, Linda Sutter (Richard), Wendy Roberts (Lawrence) and Mandy Scudder (James); his stepdaughters, Lisa Tucker (Jay) and Patricia Golter (Greg); his sister Betty Schahn; his grandchildren, Chayson Roberts, Cameron Roberts, Jamie Scudder and Amberly Scudder; his stepgrandchildren, Kyle Tucker (Jenny), Katie Rogers (Mark), Sara Anderson (Tucker), Rachel Tucker, Tristan Golter and Trevor Golter; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ellie, Stroud, Henry, Sam and August.
