It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adah Dixon of Cleveland, Tennessee, born in Decatur, Tennessee, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne A. Dixon; her children, Randall Dixon and Loretta Jones; her parents, John Samuel and Mary Ann Howard; her siblings, Lucy, John, Gertrude, Mary and Claude; and her son-in-law Rick Shourd.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Shourd and Alan Dixon (Kelley); her son-in-law Alan Jones; her grandchildren, Lisa Jane McNelly (Ivan), Gary Dixon (Angelia), David Dixon (Patricia), Jill Jones, Justin Jones, Matt Shourd, Brandon Shourd, Kristi Dixon, Whitney Dixon and Hunter Jones; her great grandchildren, Ethan McNelly, Adam Dixon, Bradley Dixon, Derrick Dixon, Tristan Jones and Hayley Reed; and her caregiver Sandra Dixon.
