It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avadene Brown (Cleveland, Tennessee), who passed away on February 26, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Levi and Estelle Brookes Hipps. She is survived by: her husband Robert W. Brown; her children, Ed (Teresa Brown) of Cleveland and Bobbie (Roger Varner) of Mercersburg, PA; her grandchildren, Jada (J. P. Westfield), Ansley (Martin Watley), Tiffany (Richard Gillette), Alaric (Renee Varner) and Bobby Alan Varner; and her great grandchildren, Jalen, Jaleya Westfield, Raylee, Adisson Watley, Dakota, McKinzie, Alexander, Gideon Gillette, Aubrey, Aiden Varner, Cassidy Harris, Nehemyah, Eden and Ava Varner. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and many of her great grandchildren.

Due to COVID concerns, masks and social distancing will be observed for the visitation and for the service.

“Avadene was a wonderful, talented, caring woman that I was privileged enough to take care of at Legacy Village of Cleveland for 2 years. She always was the best dressed woman in the room, had an infectious laugh, and boy could she play the piano!! I remember singing Amazing Grace as she played the piano and what an honor that was. I will always remember Avadene and her love for the LORD and music. It pains my heart to know she has passed but I know she is celebrating at the feet of Jesus!!”
