She is survived by: her brother Douglas Van Maxwell; her grandchildren, William Rice (Shannon), Benjamin Rice, B. J. Rice and Kristie Rice; her great grandchildren, A. J. Rice, Zakkary Byrd and Nora Rice; and her daughter-in-law Lori Boring. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
