We bid farewell to Benjamin C. Stansel of Cleveland, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 10, 2025 at the age of 84. Benjamin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stansel and Sara Stansel; his wife Annette Schuyler; and his brothers, Ronnie and John Stansel.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Ruth Pittman (O'Neal) of Liberty, MO; his sisters-in-law, Linda Stansel of Lumberton, NC and Joyce Geaslan (Art) of Ayden, NC; his children, Jim Stansel (Christy) of Cleveland, Pam McMillan (Mike) of Thompson's Station, TN and Amy Glenn of Thompson's Station, TN; and his grandchildren, Zack McMillan (Sierra) of Amarillo, TX, Amanda Levenhagen (Donovan) of Chattanooga, Wesley Glenn of Washington, DC, Steven Stansel (Alejandra) of Cleveland, Claire Glenn of Cincinnati, OH and Allison McMillan of Knoxville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ben's name to the Wesley Memorial Sack Pack program, the Cleveland Alzheimer's Walk (held this coming September in Cleveland), or to Hospice of Chattanooga.
