She was predeceased by: her husband James O. Stuart; her parents, Dewey Hamby and Ora Hamby; her siblings, Eula Mae Hamby and Eugene Hamby; her parents-in-law, Oren and Ellie Stuart; and her siblings-in-law, Erine Stuart (Nelson Bates) and Florine Hammons.
She is survived by: her son Randy; her daughter-in-law Susie Stuart; her daughter Sharon; her son-in-law Michael Gates; her grandchildren, Misti Earwood, Rachael Gates, Jeremiah, Jordan, Andrew Stuart, Samatha and Erika; her sister Wilma Bates; and her sisters-in-law, Josephine Lowe and June Aldridge. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
