She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wooden and Cordie Wooden; her husband Freddie Thompson; and her sisters, Helen Rucker, Betty Horner, Frances Cole and Mildred Jordan.
She is survived by: her children, Angel Perry and Tony Thompson (Joan); and her sister Evelyn Carroll. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Cleveland.
