She was predeceased by: her parents, James Collins and Josephine WIlson; and her brothers, Harold Collins and Terry Collins. She is survived by: her husband Larry "Bud" Holmes; her sons, Tony Holmes and Michael Holmes; her granddaughter Andi Durning; her great-niece Jessica Shepherd; and her sister-in-law Sharon Holmes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Companion Funeral Home (2415 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Hiwassee Memorial Gardens (8063 N Lee Hwy, Charleston, TN 37310).
