He is survived by: his wife Jimmie Kinser Cooper; his children, Charles Cooper Jr. (Faye), Deanna Cooper Barrick (David), Denzil Cooper and Mary; his grandchildren, Holly Cooper Ogletree (John), Julia Cooper Hudson (B. J.), Denzil Cooper, Jr. (Jennifer), Jennifer Cooper Guy (Nick), Chris Wright (Tara), David Wright (Tawnya), Nicole Christopher and Blake Christopher (Selina); and his great grandchildren, Katelyn Guy, Maddox Cooper, Braydon Cooper and Nicholas Guy. He is also survived by great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and two ornery sisters-in-law.
