It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde McAlister of Cleveland, Tennessee, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Erb McAlister and Opal McAlister; his wife Mildred McAlister; and his sisters, Carmen Goins and Kathryn Callahan.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Wehrwein (Wayne), Tony McAlister (Shannon), Keith McAlister (Donna) and Eric McAlister (Lesa); his grandchildren, Dustin Hall (Sasha), Matthew Wehrwein, Bradley Wehrwein, Aaron Wehrwein, Ashleigh Napier (Michael), Kelby McAlister, Brittany Moore, Zach McAlister and Ashley Alverson Christian (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Madison, Carter, Charlie, Leanne, Katelyn, Braylon, Oakley, Tori, Mya, Ruger, Nicholas and Eleanor.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Companion Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
