She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Crawford and Walter Mitchell "Billy" Crawford; and her brother Walter Mitchell Crawford III. She is survived by: her husband James E. McCall; her daughters, Jennifer Braun (Rob) of Falmouth, KY and Meg Howerton (Phil) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Krista Dunlap (Ryan), Robert Braun (Lindsey), Philip Howerton IV and Marshall Howerton; and her great grandchildren, William, Elliott and Matthew Dunlap.

Colleen donated her body to UT College of Medicine for biomedical education and research so she could continue teaching.
