He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Tinsley and Juanita Tinsley (late Illiana Lawler Tinsley); and his siblings, Bud Tinsley, Mary Jane Bean, Sue Tinsley, Rob Tinsley, Joe Tinsley, Major Tinsley, Ralph Tinsley, Iona Scoggins and Frank Tinsley.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Tinsley; his daughter Christy Tinsley Carney (Matt Carney); his grandchildren, Spencer Hood (Shannon) and Savannah Millard (Matt); his great grandchildren, Whitman, Boone, Swayze, Wylie and Ailee; and his siblings, Norma Floyd, Margaret McKamey, Ola Mae Trentham and Glen Tinsley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
