She was predeceased by: her former husband George Spunt Jr.; her parents, Anthony Petz and Erma Petz-Higley; her siblings, Louis May, Donald May, David May, Timothy Petz, Donnalee May and Esther Petz; her in-laws, Raymond Epperson Sr. and Geraldine Epperson; and her sisters-in-law, Juli Ann Jones and Sandra Epperson.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond Epperson Jr.; her children, Anna Epperson, Jaime Flatt and Raymond Epperson III; her grandchildren, Tyler Gunter, Isaiah Gunter and Mikayla Gunter; and her sisters, Venessa Tatum and Bernitte "Birdy" Stone. She is also survived by great grandchild.
A reception was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
