It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Edgar Long (Cleveland, Tennessee), who passed away on August 13, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lauria Marie Long and Edgar "Bug" Chester Long. He is survived by: his daughter Dr. Lacy Windham (Eric); his grandchildren, Lee, Lake and Lark; his sister Joyce Billingsley (Franklin); his sibling's children, Denise Ray (Alan) and Jenise Cantrell (Rob); his cousin Darrell Prueitt; and his great-nieces, Kaitlyn Arendale (Colby), Callie Vandemark (Brandon), Tiffany Saffold (Brian), Courtney Cantrell (Bobby) and Jillian Cantrell.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Companion Funeral & Cremation Service - Cleveland Chapel (2415 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
