He is survived by: his children, Teresa Logan, Linda Black and Steve Ledford; his grandsons, Jason Dale and David Palmer; his parents-in-law, Ethel and Morgan Hysinger; his wife Mamie Sue Fortner; his grandson Kevin Dale (Alyson); and his siblings, Evelyn Davis and Bill Fortner (Cleveland). He is also survived by his 7 great grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the JIM Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
