He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Nation and Margie Nation; his mother-in-law Pat Daughdrill of Wiggins, MS; his brother-in-law Glenn Turner of Byron, GA; and his siblings, Gary, Genell and Lamar.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Phillip Cagle (Amanda) of Huntsville and Spencer Cagle (Katie) of Chesterfield, Missouri; his grandchildren, Whitaker, Caroline, Collins, Margaret and Barnes; his siblings, Jerry Nation (Bobbie) and Mike Nation (Darlene) of Rock Spring, GA; his sister-in-law Kim Turner; his niece Jennifer Turner of Byron, Georgia; and his nephew Chris Turner of Olive Branch, Mississippi..
