He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Paul Brown Sr. and Amy Ada Parks Brown; his siblings, Joseph Paul Brown Jr. "JP" (Martha) and Anna Lou Brown Miller (Dale); and his granddaughter Amber Nicole Sliger.
He is survived by: his significant other Barbara Ann Johnson Brown; his daughters, Denise Brown Grant (David) and Patricia Ann Brown Garvich (Tim); his grandchildren, Bradford James Sliger (Deborah) and Christy Ja'nise Sliger Millrany; his great grandchildren, Elijah James Sliger, Abigail Lynn Sliger and Celina Ann Sliger; his niece Kathy Brown Ownby (Randall); and his stepgrandchildren, Hatcher, Heather Gilbert, Justin Garvich and Brenton Garvich.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Companion Funeral & Cremation Service - Ridge Chapel (2412 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lebanon Cemetery.
