He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Jones and Mazo Bonnie Ritter Jones; his son Samuel Jones; and his siblings, Gerald Jones (Pat), John Jones, Marilyn Stapleton (Dick) and Cindy Jones.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Leona; his children, Paul Jones, Val Boddy (Keith) and Dorothy Ross; and his siblings, Sue Sears and Stephen Jones. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great-great niece.
