She is survived by: her son Donald Peyton Coe (Tori Ellison); her sister Deborah Lee Coe Slaughter (Glenn); her nieces, Brittnee Dawn Slaughter, Betsy Jane Slaughter Arrowood (Patrick), Gwendolyn Brucie Slaughter, Maggie Elizabeth Arrowood and Sarah Brynlee Gracie Arrowood; her nephew James Donald Arrowood (Ocean); and her namesake Melissa Gayle Moore Brown. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
