With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Ann Stephens (Cleveland, Tennessee), born in Newnan, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Brimer and Clara Brimer; her sisters, Helen Couch and Hazel Duncan; and her son-in-law Howie Tallent.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Levi Stephens; her daughters, Kay McMahan (Hal) and Melanie Tallent (John Johnson); and her grandchildren, Amanda Duvall, Mark Stephens, Melissa Douglas, Shannon Tallent, Jeremy Tallent and Harry McMahan.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Generations Fund at First Baptist Church of Cleveland, Tennessee.
