She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Johnson and Ella Mae Johnson (Eddie Dago); her husband Jesse White Sr.; her sister Pauline Craven (Clifford); her son Therris White; her granddaughters, Jocelyn Wright (Rodney), Jacquesta Ballew and Cicely Peterson; her aunt Lillian McCarver (Buster); her uncle Samuel Jenkins; her nephews, Monroe, Andre Johnson (Tetter), Stanley and Larry Hickey; her niece Paulette Mee; and her close friends, Lillian Thompson and Lillian Gains.

She is survived by: her children, Jesse White, Verona Bazel (Phil), Natacha Hudgins (Andy), Griselda Mee (William) and Franchesta White; her goddaughters, Rev Rhonda Westfield and Angelique Ware; and her nieces, Beverly Wells, Benita Hickey and Phyllis Miller (Tim). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
