She is survived by: her children, Dennis Norwood (Mary Jo) and Paula Norwood; her grandson Daniel Norwood (Laura); her great grandchildren, William and Anderson Norwood; her siblings, Jessie James, Janet Harris (Tom) and Michael C. Lyons; and her sister-in-law Mary Ellen Janes (James).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Liz's memory to the Tennessee State Veterans' Home of Cleveland, where she was proud to have been the first resident following numerous years of fundraising efforts for its development.
