With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ella Johnson (Cleveland, Tennessee), who passed away on January 17, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Grundy Bolen and Frances Heifner Bolen of Calhoun, TN.; her husband George Robert Johnson; her son Eric Brian Johnson; her sister Helen Bolen Green; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Johnson and June Johnson.
She is survived by: her significant other Daytona; her friends, Nancy and Claude Ogle Jr. Later; her children, Janice Wilson (Thomas), Mark Johnson (Beverly) and Julia Scoggins (Dale); her brother Charles Bolen (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Julia Wilson Zampronha, Katie Wilson, Sarah Wilson, Rachel Scoggins Evans, Brad Scoggins (Amber), Erica Scoggins, Maggie Johnson and Laura Johnson; her great grandchild Walker Evans; and her grandchildren, Gabi Zampronha, Olivia Wilson Lynch, Autumn Scoggins, Brooke Scoggins and Isaac Wilson Deitchman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Cleveland or the Alzheimer's Association of Tennessee at 7625 Hamilton Park Drive, Unit 6, Chattanooga TN.
