She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Griffith and Essie Mae Fleming; her children, David Hayes Jr., Hope Johnson and Yvette Ray; and her siblings, Callie Johnson, Katie Chestnut, Evelyn Griffith, Martha Griffith, Robert Griffith and Richard Griffith (Evelyn).
She is survived by: her husband Isaac Nimley of Cleveland, TN; her daughters, April Hayes-Schmaltz (Albert), Johanna Nimley and Joy Nimley; her grandson Isaac N. Nimley; her sister Sarah Knight of Syracuse, NY; her son-in-law Tony Johnson; and her close friends, John, Manel Porte, Gaynell Simpson, Emily Fields, Arthur Whrogboe and Peel Williams. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
