It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen Jean McSpadden of Cleveland, Tennessee, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Oscar George Rogers; her siblings, Mary Elizabeth Rogers Moore, Edward Leighton Rogers and Tommy Rogers; her niece Alice Ayers Rogers; and her nephews, George Calvin Rogers and Bobby Wayne Rogers.

She is survived by: her husband Julian Henry McSpadden; her sister Martha Sue Rogers Brown; and her nieces and nephews, Sarah Katherine Brown Ownby, Allorah Lee Rogers Duke, James Leighton Rogers, Donald Ray Rogers, Glen Edward Rogers, William Stephen Rogers and Daniel Lee Moore. She is also survived by 20 great nieces & nephews; several great-great nieces and nephews.
