We announce the death of Emma Ferguson (Cleveland, Tennessee), who passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 100. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Ownby and Sophie Ownby; her son Larry Ferguson; her grandson Don Foster; and her siblings, Ethel Ownby, Velma McKnight, Becky Seaborn, Clell Ownby and Verlis Ownby.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Johnson, Brenda Hawkins, Randell (Carol Ferguson) and Wanoka (Joseph Brown); her grandchildren, Shawn Holmes, Steve Ferguson, Karen King, Lisa Hamby, Gwen Compton, Jeremy Cheek, Adam Ferguson, Mitchell Ferguson, Besheia Christian and Shemayah Heron; and her sisters, Hettie Copeland and Lena Elliott. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
