She was predeceased by: her parents, William Taft and Ada Ownby; her husband Gilbert Hawkins; her brother Hoyt Ownby; and her grandson John Mantooth.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Hawkins (Yvonda), Judy Elliott and Cathy Mantooth (Bobby).
