She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin Davis; her parents, William Spriggs and Mother Maggie Parkerand; her stepmother Rose Spriggs; her siblings, Carrie Elizabeth Taylor and Henry Ashmore; her son Robert Taylor; and her grandsons, O'Neal Ware Jr., Moma Puddin and Puddin'.

She is survived by: her children, Maria Whaley (Jed) of Cleveland, TN., Angela Ware (O'Neal) of Cleveland, TN., Joyce Davis of Cleveland, TN., Richard Todd Davis (Shirley) of Cleveland, TN., Edwina 'Nesi' Jordan (Gerald) of Cleveland, TN., Edwin 'Buck' Davis (Janet) of Cleveland, TN., Darla Ware of Cleveland, TN. and Mark Taylor (Jennifer) of Cleveland, TN.; her stepdaughter Sherry Hooker of Chicago; her daughters, Peggy Goodine and Carlotta Ware; her siblings, Mary Carter, Phyllis Graham, David Ashmore and Ricky Ashmore; her cousins, Edith Blair and Isabella Westfield; and her nieces, Kathy Kennedy, Pam McCleary, Sabrina Taylor, Joan Davis and Devada Graham. She is also survived by 54 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
