It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Louise Melton Ogle of Cleveland, Tennessee, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Melton and Lena Garner Melton; her husband Kenneth Doyle Ogle; her sons, Doyle Anderson Ogle and Dwight Richard Ogle; her grandson Jeremy Dwight Ogle; and her siblings, June "Tootsie" McCracken, Horace "Bud" Melton, Shelby Clark and Randall Melton of Asheville, NC..
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Park Summars and Deanna Tankersley (Mike); her daughters-in-law, Wilma Ogle and Sally Ogle; her grandchildren, Lisa Lovelace (Allan), Kenny Park (Denise), Susan Swafford, Andra Griffey (Brent) and Bridgett Ogle; and her great grandchildren, Sarah Clark (Chase), Sabrina Lovelace Robb (Danny), Ryan Lovelace, Nate Lovelace, Tessa Sparks (Brian), Alexis Griffey, Jaydon Griffey, Ethan Griffey and Jacob Ogle.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the JIM Rush Funeral and Cremation Services - North Ocoee (2603 N Ocoee St, Cleveland, TN 37312). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
