He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert "Bert" Murray and Geneva Viola Cunningham Murray; his wife Janice Ann Murray; and his siblings, Garland Murray, Carolyn Mulligan, Ray Murray, Clifford Murray, Roy Lee Murray, Carl Murray, Leonard Murray and Billy Murray.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Murray (Tina), Sherry Murray (Joe) and Terrie Holmes (Richie); his grandchildren, Ryan Murray, Steven Rogers (Erica), Alisha Beasley (Ryan), Cortnie Holmes, Tyler Murray, Kara Holmes and Gabbi Little; his great grandchildren, Tatum Murray, Tanner Murray, Parker Rogers, Jaycen Ball, Jordan Rogers, Sarah Ball and Maverick Rogers; his siblings, Frances Swafford and Gordon Murray of Cleveland; and his sister-in-law Jane Carter of Riceville.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Companion Funeral Home (2412 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
