It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George C. Lessig (Cleveland, Tennessee), who passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Joseph Watson Lessig; and his parents, Mina Lessig and Joseph Lessig. He is survived by: his wife Martha M. Lessig; his children, Paige L. Arnup (Brendon) and Brian A. Lessig (Andrea); his grandchildren, River Lessig and Riley Lessig; his sister-in-law Ann Lessig; his niece Lenore Veresh; his nephew Joe Lessig; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Laura Lind (Charles), Andrea Veresh, Clara Lessig and Zach Lessig (Kylene).
