He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Wells; his daughter Angela Brown; his parents, Henry Wells and Martha Jane Johnson-Wells; his stepmother Mary Wells; and his siblings, Edward, Randy, Cletus Wells (Anna Jean), Sandra Wells, Charlotte Elaine Wells-Walker and Connie Faye Ware.
He is survived by: his sons, Rodney Wells (Sharon) and Christopher Wells (April); his son-in-law Jeff Brown of Cleveland Tn; his daughters, Karen Barton (Christopher) of Chattanooga and Elizabeth Wells of Cleveland; his grandchildren, Monique Moody (Nathaniel) of Cleveland, Michael Brown of Cleveland, Krishayla Wells of Cleveland, Gabrielle Barton of Chattanooga, Nathaniel Barton of Chattanooga and Emmanuel Barton of Chattanooga; his great grandchild Kayden Moody of Cleveland, TN; his siblings, Vincent Wells (Renea), Shirley Wells of Cleveland, Louvenia Wells of Cleveland, Stephanie Wells of Cleveland and Marva Keith of Chattanooga, TN.; his sister-in-law Beverly Wells of Cleveland, TN.; and his close friends, Anne Maness and Melvin Nichols of Cleveland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.
