He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reverend Noah Hicks and Sarah Pike Hicks; his son Paul; his siblings, Henry and Lois Tompkins; his wife Clara Faye Morrow Hicks; his daughter Lisa Estes (Glenn); his grandchildren, Stephen Estes (Maria), Lauren Meinel (Matthew), Michael Estes (Erin) and Philip Estes; and his siblings, Billy Hicks of Etowah, Gracie Harvill (Boyd) of Crossville, Joe Hicks (Willa) of Sweetwater, Josephine Farrell of Calhoun, Johnny Hicks (Carol) of Cohutta, Georgia, Geneva Morris (Kenneth) of Etowah, Jimmie Hamilton (Bill) of Cleveland, Gene Hicks (Tracy) of Cleveland and Dean Hicks (Vicki) of Friendsville. He was also cherished by 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
