He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Dill Taylor and Raught Taylor; and his brother Ernest "Chuck" Taylor. He is survived by: his children, Nathan A. Taylor and Geneva Sue Longwith; his siblings, Geneva "Bloss" Morrow, Nell Cunningham, Robert Taylor and Otis Taylor; his wife Julia Hester Taylor; his children, Sonya Taylor Merkel (Ronn), Vickey Kesley (Ricky) and Tim Taylor (Missy); his grandsons, T. J. Taylor (Amy), Christian Merkel, Dallas Taylor and Dakota Taylor; his great grandchild Katie Taylor; his siblings, Pearl Morrow, Brenda Collins and Jack Taylor; and his close friend Deana Merkel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
