Janet Steele Johnson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2025, at the age of 78, Janet Steele Johnson of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Pettigrove Steele and Dr. Byron Howard Steele Sr.; her son-in-law Dr. David J. Pearce; and her brother Byron H. Steele Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Gaye Harding; her son-in-law Jayson McKee (Lisa M. Pearce); her grandchildren, James, Cole Harding, Samantha Pearce, Kaitlyn Nail (Carter) and Hannah Pearce; and her brother Dr. Dennis F. Steele (Libby). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the North Cleveland Church of God (335 11th St NE, Cleveland, TN 37311). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
