He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Sneed and Mildred Sneed; his former wife Betty Sneed; his stepson James Cunningham; and his brothers, Charles and Owen Sneed.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Sneed; his son Tim Sneed (Dottie); his stepson Aaron "Raymond" Brackin; his sisters, Betty Hooper, Reba Webb, Barbara McCallum, Linda Gentry and Shirley Gaylor; his granddaughters, Leeann Parris, Emily Bell (Andy) and Rachel Kohn (David); and his great grandchildren, Kailee, Chase, Austin, Autumn, Catherine, Tyler, Parker and Addison. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Companion Funeral & Cremation Service (2412 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (7180 N Lee Hwy, Cleveland, TN 37312).
