He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Powers and Kathleen Townsend Powers; and his brother-in-law Ed Hennessee. He is survived by: his grandson Tyler; his wife Connie Hennessee Powers; his son Nathan Powers; his grandchildren, Rose Powers and Rhett Powers; his sister Carol Burris (J. C.); and his sisters-in-law, Betty Morrow, Faye Hennesse, Charlotte Davis (Jacky), Fran Walker, Ann Moon (Billy) and Carolyn Brown (George). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
