She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Thompson and Rosella Thompson; and her daughter Megon Leah Creighton. She is survived by: her husband Curtis Whitt Creighton; her children, Candace Guevara (Maria) and Adam Russel Creighton; her grandchildren, Hayden Compton (Jaelyn), Hayley Wilson (Colby), Chase Creighton (Jessica), Cloe Creighton, Addison Creighton and Kate Guevara; her great grandchildren, Sawyer and Sadie Wilson; and her siblings, Dana Bennewitz (Dan) and Scott Thompson (Joy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Double Springs Baptist Church (116 Co Rd 776, Athens, TN 37303).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations in her memory to Double Springs Baptist Church.
