With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kent Thomas Sharpton (Cleveland, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, S. C. Sharpton and Ruth Sharpton of Alabama; his siblings, Robert of Georgia, S. C. Jr. of Georgia and Allen Sharpton of Georgia; and his children, Michael Sharpton and Angie Sharpton-Strozier.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Sharpton (Bain); his granddaughters, Shanna Corvin (Ernie), Anna Sharpton and Megan Sharpton (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Ashtyn Corvin, Braelyne Ledford, Lydia Cross, Jayden and Sam Mantooth; and his son-in-law Michael Strozier.
