He is survived by : his wife Dinah Bishop; his children, Mark Bishop (Mary), Michelle Choate (Jarrett), Madison Bishop and Mariah Bishop; his siblings, David Bishop (Maxine), Gail Swanson, Charles Bishop, Sharon Elrod, Dewayne Swanson and Terri Swanson; his grandchildren, Kayla Nipps (Jason), Katie Hicks, Candice Blackwell (Derrick), Savanna Bishop and Peyton Harden; and his great grandchildren, Davan Hicks, Ashley Hicks, Kayden Bishop, Jala Keller, Tanner Hicks, Zooey Blackwell, Kason Nipps, Jase Blackwell and Jackson Taylor.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Companion Funeral Home (2415 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery.
